What is binary number?

ohwo What is binary number? It is a number expressed in the base-2 numeral system or binary numeral system.
I have an example, how to transfer 63 into binary number? we
63/2 = 31 --------1
31/2 = 15 --------1
15/2 = 7 ---------1
7/2 = 3 -----------1
3/2 = 1 -----------1
1/2 = 0 -----------1

and we just write the residuals 1 from bottom to to. We have the answer 111111.

How to design a function and how to prepare for the course

Good evening, it was a pleasure being in CSC104 for the semester. I learned a lot throughout the second half of the year. First of all, I am going to talk about how to design a function. What is a function? Function is a named procedure that perform what you tell it to do. Function consists header and body. Header consists of the name of the function as well as other required elements. Body consists what you edit the function. I simply begin with a check-expect and then, I replace it with a function template. Finally, I need to test it and debug it until all tests are passed. For example, I want to write a function that when I say “cat-number 1 2”, I produces “3”. Apparently the cat-number is the name of the function and “3” is the result. Then, what should the header and body of the function be? It is interesting that we can do Math in DrRacket. For example, (+ 1 2) means one plus two and the result is simply three.   (* 1 2 ) means one times two which is equal to two.
